Must be at least 18 years of age and have reliable transportation. Part-time position am and pm and weekends as needed.

Puppy Luv is looking to add another dedicated, patient and loving individual to help us provide exceptional care for our pups and dogs. Qualified applicant must be passionate about animals, and have a serious attention to detail and cleanliness. This person will oversee all aspects of daily animal care with primary duties involving cleaning the kennels and yards, doing laundry and providing top notch medical care. Your overall duties will be to support the physical and behavioral enrichment of our dogs and puppies. Need to assist in the day-to-day activities of keeping the Rescue neat and organized.
Pay is based on job performance and longevity.
Responsibilities:
Perform assigned tasks such as cleaning, laundry, dishes and bathing of our puppies and dogs.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the rescue.
Manage the basic care of animals in the rescue and alert staff when a puppy or dog seems sick or just not right. Be detailed in providing communication with staff when a change in one of our dogs is noticed.
Support and be able to direct volunteers on basic animal care, feeding and other duties. You will work directly with our volunteers so clear communication and positive attitude is a must.
Understand and promote our mission and policies. Be able to support and be an advocate for our organization.
Skills and Experience:
Must be passionate about dogs and cleaning.
- Must be able to work alone and unsupervised, with the ability to stay busy and productive.
Must have the ability to work in the extreme heat of summer.
- Must have flexible schedule.
Must have the physical strength and ability to lift and carry a maximum of 50lbs, perform duties assigned that requires lifting, bending, stooping and other strenuous activities.
