Aerospace manufacturer looking for Quality Inspector in an AS9100 environment. Must have experience in GD&T and able to read customer drawings, associated engineering, internal work instructions and process specifications. Experience with excel is required.
Inspection type is mechanical utilizing surface plate, indicators, height gage, gage blocks, gage pins, calipers, various micrometers, dial bore, thread wires and optical comparator. CMM experience is not required.
Duties will include:
First piece inspection of machined parts.
Final inspections of simply & complex assemblies.
Dimensional and visual inspection of welds.
Tool calibration of inspection equipment as well as employee tools.
Inspection report creation.
Manufacturing facility is located conveniently off the Loop 101 & Glendale Ave. in the Glendale Air Park.
Entire facility is air conditioned / climate controlled.
Business hours are Monday - Thursday 6am to 4:30pm. Overtime schedule, if required is Friday 6am to Noon.
