Madden Industrial Craftsmen, a premier staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician for a client in Phoenix, Arizona. The client specializes in manufacturing custom heat exchanger coils, fluid coolers, and remote air-cooled condensers for OEM and replacement markets.
Pay Rate: $30/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5 AM-2 PM
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
Conduct employee training in equipment operations and safety procedures or assign training to experienced personnel.
Perform maintenance, repair, installation, fabrication, adjustment, troubleshooting, and other maintenance duties as needed.
Follow standards, budgets, production goals, and rates based on company policies, equipment, labor availability, and workloads.
Responsible for scheduled and preventive maintenance checks and departmental inventory control.
Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and operating difficulties, including cranes/hoists, 3-phase motors, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, HVAC units, air compressors, pumps, exhaust fans, etc.
Perform mechanical, electrical, and plumbing operations.
Conduct start-up and shutdown functions on plant equipment and facilities as required.
Respond to emergency calls as assigned.
Maintain departmental documentation as required.
Work safely at all times in compliance with OSHA/EPA regulations and resolve cited safety issues promptly.
Participate in the handling, labeling, containment, and disposal of hazardous waste.
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
Broad-based knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing acquired through hands-on training.
Experience with hydro, electrical, and air drilling.
Knowledge of blueprints and schematics.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Must be able to pass the tape measure test.
