Duties and Responsibilities:

Utilize blueprints, engineering drawings, and other references to visually and physically inspect materials, components, and assemblies, ensuring conformity to customer, regulatory, and company standards.

Validate production and engineering test processes, confirming compliance with prescribed methods and procedures.

Maintain meticulous records of quality standards compliance, verifying alignment with customer and company specifications.

Tackle inspection challenges by devising effective methods, procedures, and plans.

Conduct audits to ensure the integrity of products and processes.

Document inspection findings, maintaining accurate logs and generating detailed reports.

Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Proficient in handling measuring instruments such as scales, calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges.

Thorough understanding of manufacturing, production, and engineering test processes.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong ability to comprehend and execute instructions with keen attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with interpersonal proficiency.

Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.

Access to Export Control Information and consistent attendance at the worksite.

Education and/or Experience:

A minimum of 4 years of aviation-related inspection experience and 7 years of work-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

A & P License required.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

Safety-sensitive position designated by the employer.

Work environments include office and factory settings, with exposure to noise, dust, odors, and fumes.

Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs. Regularly engage in sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and movement within facilities.
