Job Responsibilities:
- Design and execute high-quality tattoos for clients, ensuring each piece meets the client’s expectations and the studio’s standards.
- Work collaboratively with clients to develop custom tattoo designs based on their ideas and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and sterile work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Set up and break down workstations, ensuring all equipment is sterilized before and after use. The shop will provide all supplies, including ink and needles.
- Manage and schedule appointments effectively, with a steady stream of clients provided by the shop.
- Participate in continuous learning and development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest tattooing techniques and styles.
- Demonstrate versatility in tattooing styles to cater to a diverse client base.
- Work as part of a team, supporting fellow artists and staff to ensure a smooth operation of the studio.
- Maintain and be responsible for personal tattoo machine and equipment.
- Contribute to the studio’s reputation by providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all clients.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional tattooing experience.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of styles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to consult effectively with clients.
- A commitment to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- A proactive attitude towards learning and development in the tattoo industry.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain a positive, professional demeanor.
