Boutique law firm in Glendale seeking full-time Associate Attorney for family law. Candidate does not need prior experience in the family and probate law practice areas, but does need good client management skills, assertive demeanor with opposing parties, ability to multitask, attention to detail, and follow through to completion of tasks. Candidate will be expected to work from 8 AM to noon, and from 1 PM to 5 PM five days per week. Candidate will need to be located in the Phoenix metro area, but will be able to telecommute. When telecommuting, candidate must work from a quiet location with high-speed Internet access. Equipment will be provided.
TYPICAL DAILY ACTIVITIES
1. Provide legal advice to clients
2. Drafting court documents, including pleadings, motions, and all other filings
3. Review paralegal work product and edit as necessary
4. Attend hearings
5. Engage professionally but conservatively with opposing parties
6. Assist senior attorneys as requested on matters including but not limited to family law
