Position: Warehouse Associate
Location: 1210 W Alameda Dr, Tempe, AZ 85282
Pay: $18/hour
Hours: 12-24 hours/week.
Description:
- Loading/unloading pallets off of trucks.
- Testing electronics and separating broken from functional.
- Breaking down electronics for recycling with hand tools and power tools.
- Building/repairing/replacing parts on computers, including erasing hard drives according to data security standards.
- Cleaning electronics for reuse/resale.
- Packaging and shipping.
- Customer service with customers who come in to purchase through our retail store.
- General labor.
Requirements:
- ATTENTION TO DETAIL: This is a requirement. Our customers trust us with securely managing and erasing the data on their hard drives and other electronics. Any mistake in the process is unacceptable. We will teach you the process, and it must be followed.
- Some prior experience tinkering with electronics/computers is preferred but not required.
- Customer service skills.
- Hours are flexible, any time between 10 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Friday. Minimum 4 hours per shift to make it worth your time. We can accommodate your schedule as needed.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs. There will be times where we have items that weigh 100+ lbs, but we can team lift on those.
- Good work ethic. We live in Arizona and you will sweat. Our warehouse is evap-cooled, not A/C cooled. We provide plenty of ice-cold water and a refrigerator as well.
- Willingness to learn.
- Show up on time.
Additional information:
Expect to have 12 hours/week at the start, gradually growing to 24-30 hours/week as the company grows and more hours become available.
