Job Summary:
The Behavioral Health trainee who becomes a Peer Support Specialist will provide: Quality wellness services to promote recovery and deliver the message that mental health recovery is not a remission or a miracle cure, but the process of living a fulfilling life despite illness and loss.
The Behavioral Health trainee will receive training for and receive a Peer Support certification, as well as CPR and First Aid training and many more levels of programs to assistant our Wellness Center members.
Additional training will also include wrap around services for our members in our housing program to assist them in achieving a variety of positive preferences and lifestyles.
Minimum Qualifications / Experience:
Valid Arizona Driver’s License.
Clear a background investigation and drug test.
If in recovery, must have one year of stability.
Must be 21 years of age.
Education / Certifications:
HS Diploma or GED
