Job Title: Construction Worker (Ski Lift Installer)

Locations: Powder Mountain, Snowbasin, Alta (Utah), Crystal Mountain (Washington State), or Taos (New Mexico)

Position: Construction Workers for Ski Lift Installation

Job Description:

Project: Installing a new high-speed quad ski lift on Wasatch Peaks Ranch in Utah.

Responsibilities:

Lift Installation: Assemble and install the ski lift components, ensuring all parts are securely and accurately placed.

Foundation Work: Participate in the initial phase of the project, which involves laying the foundation for the ski lift.

Height Work: Work at heights during the second phase of the project, which will last approximately two weeks.

Labor Assistance: Assist with various labor tasks to ensure the project is completed on time and meets all safety standards.

Duration: The project is expected to conclude at the end of the ski season. However, there will be opportunities to start work again in the spring of next year.

Physical Requirements:

Lifting: Regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Hiking: Hike to and from the construction site, which can be 3/4 of a mile to 2 miles long.

Altitude: Work at high altitudes, which requires physical stamina and endurance.

Pay:

Rate: $23-30/hr, depending on relevant experience.

Per Diem: Housing provided.

Environment:

Hiking: Expect to hike in high altitude for up to 2 miles on the side of the mountain.

Hours: Work from 7 AM to 5 PM or 6 PM, Monday through Saturday.

Workload: 10-hour days, 55 to 60-hour weeks.

Weather: Be prepared to work in all weather conditions, as weather can change rapidly in the mountains.

Qualifications:

Transportation: Must have a reliable car to get to and from the site.

Physical Fitness: Physically able to hike at altitude and lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Experience: Previous experience in outdoor construction or farming is preferred.

Weather Adaptability: Willingness to work in all weather conditions.

Commitment: Ability to spend long periods away from home.

Pay and Benefits:

Pay Range: $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
