We’re looking for a skilled pool service technician to add to our team at Viking Pools Service & Repairs (as a subcontractor). We are hiring for Full-time and Part-time subcontractor positions for Pool techs. In this role, it will be your job to ensure that our clients’ pools are safe and clean for continued use. You will be assigned a pool route and be responsible for weekly maintenance at each pool.
As a pool service technician, you’ll be working directly with our valued clients. It’s important that you act professionally, answer their pool maintenance questions thoroughly, and provide them with a high level of customer service.
Money: Paid training, paid time off, Starting at $12.50 per pool after training (usually finish 2 pools per hour), so that’s $25 hour. After 6 months, it goes up $1 per pool, and so on the next 6 months. You will be capped at $30 per hour for pool maintenance. Although, there are so many ways to make additional money with us. We will give you options to clean filters and teach you about doing maintenance calls. Previous experience in a customer-focused role is preferred. You also must have good work ethic, be honest and reliable and can take the heat to work outside. In this role you will be working alone so if you are self motivated this job is for you.

Pool Service Technician Responsibilities:
Drive yourself between job sites
Test the pH levels of our clients’ pool water, Sweep, clean, backwash, the pool Skimm the leaves, clean the skimmer baskets test and add chemicals.
Answer all questions that clients have about pool maintenance thoroughly and professionally
Check out at each pool after completion through our App.
Pool Service Technician Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar role is strongly preferred
Reliable transportation (Truck preferred)
A smart phone (must have with our app for work each day installed on it)
A clean background/record
Valid driver’s license
Professionalism and strong customer service skills
Familiarity with common pool maintenance products and techniques.
