Job Overview:
We are looking for individuals to package our product on custom pallets with custom crating to match the product and then load trucks with the custom pallets. No experience is necessary but any experience in woodworking is a plus. We are looking for a hardworking and detail-orientated person. Based on experience, attitude, and performance, there are leadership opportunities available.
Duties:
- Use a variety of hand, power tools, and carpentry equipment following appropriate methods and procedures to prepare products and other items for pick up / shipment
- Inspecting product for any quality defects prior to packaging
- Correctly label & sort product & pallets.
- Maintain a clean and safe area.
- Operate forklift (after training) to load, move, and re-organize pallets or raw materials.
- Communicate with supervisors, engineers, and managers.
Qualifications:
- Practice problem solving and troubleshooting where needed.
- Basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Forklift experience is a plus (but not required, we will train you).
- Experience with table & miter saws are a plus (but not required, we will train you).
- Experience with basic hand tools such as: Cordless Drill, hammer, screwdriver, pliers, hand sanders, etc
- Lift / Move up to 50 lbs.
- Stand & move around for the duration of the shift.
Shift:
6:00 am to 2:30 pm
Lunch is from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm
