Thank you for your interest in our craigslist post about the sign installer position. My name is Nick Strodtman with HoldITOpen. We are a local open house sign placement and marketing company. Our primary service is directional open house sign placement for real estate agents. We are currently looking for sign installers in the West and East Valley.
We currently have two sign packages that realtors can select from: 15 directional signs, or 25 directional signs. You would be responsible for picking up the signs ahead of time from our storage locker or lead installer, installing the signs before the open house, and then picking them after the open house and returning the signs to the storage locker, or one of our lead installers. Open houses are normally between 3 to 4 hours long. We like to have the signs out no earlier than 2 hours before the open house start time and picked up no later than 2 hours after the open house is complete. Most of the open house sign installs are on Saturday and Sunday. When sign install requests come in during the week, we will reach out to you to see if you would like to do the install. If you approve we will get you on the schedule and send you the details of the install along with an install map that tells you where to install the signs. We do try to group 3 or 4 installs together in an area so you can make the most amount of money with the least amount of driving. At first, you will only have one or two installs to make sure you are getting the hang of it, but if you are reliable and do a good job, you can quickly increase your install count. Some of our top installers make over $700 a weekend. The signs are 18 x 24 inch on metal wire stakes. They do require a hammer to install and can be tough to get into the ground at times. It does get easier with experience and we are happy to train you on the process.
The pay is as follows, $50 for a completed 15 sign install, and $75 for a completed 25 sign install. You can expect the install to take between 30 minutes to 1.5 hours, and another 20 to 30 minutes for pick up. You will be paid cash/venmo/zelle after you drop off the signs at the storage locker or to the lead installer.
We would like to bring on 2 or 3 installers at this time, as we are starting to ramp up our advertising.
