American Roofing & Waterproofing is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, particularly in roofing , and will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards, safety protocols, and efficient workflows.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Scheduling.
Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules.
Coordinate with sales and estimating teams to ensure accurate project scopes and timelines.
Lead and manage a team of roofing , subcontractors, and support staff.
Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
Conduct regular team meetings to review project progress, address challenges, and identify areas for improvement.
Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that all roofing solutions meet industry standards and client expectations.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to identify any issues or deficiencies and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards, including OSHA requirements.
Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries on job sites.
Manage resources efficiently, including materials, equipment, and labor, to optimize project performance and minimize waste.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to job sites.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the duration of projects, providing regular updates on progress, addressing any concerns or questions, and ensuring overall client satisfaction.
Monitor project budgets closely, tracking expenses and revenues, and identifying opportunities to optimize costs and improve profitability.
Work closely with the finance department to prepare accurate project budgets and financial reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on roofing.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale roofing projects from start to finish.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
Thorough understanding of construction industry regulations, codes, and standards, with a commitment to safety and quality.
