About us: Smith-Southwestern is a family owned wholesale distributor that specializes in the souvenir and gift industry. The products and service we offer nationally is unique in the way we sell imported products, domestically sourced products and manufacture many items in our facility as well.
What You Will Do:
As a vital member of our team, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment, both inside and outside our facility. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Light Janitorial Duties: Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and ensuring common areas remain clean and inviting.
Preventive Maintenance: Performing routine checks and upkeep of machinery to keep operations running efficiently.
Property Maintenance: Maintaining the appearance of the building and property, ensuring everything is in top shape.
Hand and Power Tool Usage: Using basic tools to complete minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
Plumbing: Addressing basic plumbing needs as they arise.
Warehouse Support: Assisting with normal production tasks during slower maintenance periods.
What We Are Looking For:
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
General understanding of plumbing and building maintenance.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet for extended periods.
A proactive mindset with attention to detail and organizational skills.
Flexibility to assist in warehouse production as needed.
A team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn.
