East Valley Community is looking for an exceptional and experienced maintenance technician.
Summary of Position:
Maintenance personnel play an essential role in our community. Working responsibly to maintain the physical appearance and maintenance of the property. This position helps ensure the property operates following company standards and procedures, which include but are not limited to:
Painting, drywall repair, faucet repair, basic electrical, basic plumbing, roof and crack sealing/ caulking, changing light bulbs, drain cleaning, unclogging plumbing, pressure washing, and unit maintenance.
Some seasonal work may include diverting heavy rains and landscaping projects.
Performs preventive maintenance, irrigation checks, electrical checks, roof repairs, etc.
Completes all service requests expeditiously, delegating to vendors where necessary.
Implements and maintains a preventive maintenance program.
Must communicate effectively, be courteous, and be helpful to Members, prospective residents, and co-workers.
Operates with the budgeted expense account.
Keeps maintenance shop neat and clean to include inventory control.
Fosters a positive, active, collaborative relationship with residents and vendors.
Enforces and adheres to company policies, rules, and regulations.
Ensures service requests are completed timely and follow-up.
