DAP Construction Management is a Design Build firm that specializes in the Federal market sector. We are looking to add a landscaping laborer and/or licensed spray technician to enhance our Grounds Maintenance Team at Luke Air Force Base. MUST HAVE, DO NOT APPLY WITHOUT THE FOLLOWING: Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and pass a back ground check
Responsibilities include:
Laborer:
Perform grounds keeping and building maintenance duties.
Mow lawn either by hand or using a riding zero turn mower.
Cut lawn using hand, power or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls.
Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes.
Apply fertilizer to ground to enhance growth.
Sweep walkway of debris.
Irrigation experience
Cut down tree limbs that are posing a danger.
Trim shrubs and pull weeds.
Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds keeping.
Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed
Crew Members perform a variety of landscape maintenance activities. This includes the use of hand tools and operating a variety of power-driven equipment.
Prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs.
Knowledge of Irrigation Systems preferred.
Herbicide Spray Technician: Pay will increase based on experience and licensing
Perform all herbicide spray according to annual scheduling, and work orders
Hours: Monday through Friday, potentially some weekends
