Responsibilities:
Perform skilled tree climbing, pruning, and removal operations in accordance with ISA standards and industry best practices.
Safely operate and maintain specialized tree care equipment, including ropes, harnesses, chainsaws, and rigging devices.
Assess tree health and structural integrity, identifying potential hazards and recommending appropriate treatments or mitigation measures.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure clear understanding of project objectives and expectations.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries on job sites.
Mentor and train crew members on safe tree climbing techniques and proper equipment usage.
Requirements:
ISA Certified Tree Worker Climber Specialist credential or equivalent certification from a recognized arboricultural organization.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a tree climber specialist in the tree care industry.
Proficiency in advanced tree climbing techniques, including aerial rescue and rigging operations.
Strong knowledge of tree biology, pruning techniques, and tree risk assessment principles.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
