Houston Transport is looking for lead diesel mechanics and/or assistant mechanics.
Our main yard is located in Mesa with a second location in Glendale.
We currently run 39 trucks ranging from 2006 to 2024 super 18’s, simple 18’s, and day cabs with Cummins and Paccar motors.
We need someone experienced who can diagnose and repair equipment, rebuild motors, work with the dpf and def systems, and keep all equipment up to date on maintenance, etc. Other daily tasks would include ordering parts, picking up parts, keeping inventory stocked, workspace clean, organized, and safe.
This is an afternoon/evening shift. You would work Monday through Friday 11am until about 7pm (later when needed). You must also be available during the day for service calls.
You must provide your own tools and computer systems for diagnosing.
