Job Overview
Day Porters at Summit Commercial Cleaning Services, Inc. are full time employees and work day shift. Our customers are multifamily facilities, and our responsibility is to assist facility managers with cleanliness, safety and the overall appearance of each community we service. Our Day Porters are supported by our operations department who will schedule, manage and assist the needs of our porters throughout your employment with our company. Available positions in Downtown Phoenix and Tempe.
Day Porter Duties and Responsibilities
· Maintain cleanliness of lobby and other common areas
· Building perimeters and parking garages cleaning and patrolling
· Stay on task and complete service areas on time constantly
· Spot mop floors and place caution signs for safety
· Floor care: vacuum, mop, pressure wash, scrub/strip floors
· Wipe down window glass and elevator surfaces
· Dust fixtures, countertops, and other surfaces
· Empty trash, trash rooms
· Service restrooms, gyms and amenities areas
· Reporting maintenance issues to facilities
· Submitting supply orders and managing safety equipment and supply closets
Day Porter Requirements and Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED certificate preferred
· Janitorial or maintenance experience preferred
· Valid driver's license preferred
· Familiarity with common cleaning supplies and hand tools, pressure washer experience preferred
· Physical stamina, able to lift 25lbs
· Ability to work outdoors
· Friendly demeanor, bilingual is a plus
Schedule: 3 days per week, will expand to full time
