We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data in our systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with data entry software, and the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Data Input and Management: Accurately enter and update data into databases, spreadsheets, and other systems from various sources, including paper documents and digital files.

Quality Assurance: Verify data accuracy by reviewing and cross-checking entries, correcting errors, and ensuring consistency in data formats.

Data Organization: Organize and maintain electronic and physical records, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with data storage protocols.

Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion, adhering to company policies and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, or equivalent).

Reporting: Generate reports and summaries as needed, ensuring timely delivery to relevant stakeholders.

Collaboration: Work closely with team members and other departments to resolve data discrepancies and support operational needs

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data entry processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or certification in data entry, administration, or a related field is a plus.

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a similar role preferred; entry-level candidates with strong skills are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and data entry software (e.g., CRM systems, ERP software, or Google Workspace).

Typing speed of at least 40-50 WPM with high accuracy.

Familiarity with database management systems is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Other Requirements:

Basic understanding of data confidentiality principles

Comfortable with repetitive tasks and prolonged computer use.
