Job Title: Project ManagerRegion: Western USAReporting To: Senior Project ManagersResponsible For: Manage projects ranging up to $40 Million. Report to a SR Project Manager while providing assistance in general duties. Also responsible for ensuring project management and required administrative reports are completed per Federal, State, and HHI Corporation.Job Purpose: To ensure quality of work and compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and company policies. To ensure project completion in accordance with the schedule. To manage overall quality and safety needs of the project while maintaining the project’s schedule and financials.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Leading of project staff in the process of completing projects2. Organizing and overseeing job site administration3. Organizing and coordinating field supervision4. Creating and submitting project related invoices5. Assisting in the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers6. Developing, monitoring, updating, and communicating the progress schedule and its periodic revisions7. Managing the direct labor force and maintaining labor relations8. Managing subcontractor schedules, quality-of-work, coordination with other trades, and payments9. Coordinating cost-progress targets with production10. Creating and maintaining a safe/secure job site environment11. Identifying and resolving all changes12. Establishing and maintaining relationships with the Owner, design professionals, building officials, local businesses, and police and fire departments13. Establishing, maintaining, conducting, and policing detailed procedures for the submittal, review, coordination, approval, and distribution of shop drawings, samples, etc.14. Establishing and maintaining all project engineering files relating to subcontract and bid package records, plans, specifications, changes, clarifications, and as-built documents15. Reviewing all vendor schedules of values and preparing the general schedule of values16. Managing the periodic requisition procedure for review, submittal, and payment17. Expediting vendor estimates and proposals and preparing appropriate company estimates and proposals18. Evaluating subcontractor payment requisitions relative to actual work performed19. Coordinating on-site with corporate office activitiesKEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPSMust be able to work with government and non-government personnel in a professional and clear manner. Be able to work with different trades and construction focuses to ensure a quality environment without limiting the trades ability to complete work. Must be able to properly communicate over the phone and in writing to upper management to include Subcontractors, Suppliers, Onsite Staff, Owners, other PM’s, Superintendents, and Corporate Safety.Qualifications· B.S.
