Bandsaw Operator + Shipping/Receiving
This is a seasonal position that only runs from March to the end of August every summer.
Your main duties include using an industrial bandsaw and other machinery to cut large blocks of corrugated paper products and palletize for shipping for a busy HVAC supplies company. Must be able to read a tape measure and understand the orientation of the product material in 3 dimensions. You will be responsible for keeping the workshop area clean and organized.
Once shop work is done every day, additional duties will include shipping and warehousing tasks such as picking and packing orders and freight pallets for shipment and stocking received product.
Monday thru Friday 40 hours
8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Job Requirements:
Forklift and manual lifting device handling a plus but will train.
Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, lift and bend.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to read and write in English.
Must be able to communicate and take instructions effectively and be a team player.
