JOB DESCRIPTION

Hiring for the following: behavior therapists in Laveen, Coolidge, Mesa, South Phoenix, Chandler and Tempe, and surrounding areas.

We provide evidence-based interventions in order to decrease challenging behavior and strengthen language, social skills, and self-management. WHO YOU ARE

Qualifications (Required)

· Proof of Covid-19 vaccination

· Experience and passion for working with children and/or teens

· BA or current student in psychology, child development, education or related field

· Ability to work at least 12 hours per week during peak session times of 3:00-6:00

· Willingness & ability to commute clients’ homes within specified geographic region

· Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable auto transportation

· Ability to pass TB test and criminal background check

Qualifications (Preferred, but not required)

· Experience with children with autism

· Experience with children with challenging behavior

· Experience with Zoom or similar digital platforms

· Comfortable with current technology, tablet use

· Coursework in ABA

· Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Responsibilities

· Deliver direct applied behavior analysis (ABA) intervention to children with autism and related disorders in home and/or school setting

· Utilize ABA to teach communication skills, social skills, play skills, and adaptive skills

· Implement behavior intervention plans

· Follow teaching protocols and data collection methods

· Participate in clinical meetings to discuss client progress

· Provide support and education to families

· Behavior therapists are supervised by a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA)

Job Types: Part-Time, Full-Time

Pay: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience
