Job description

Overview:

We are seeking a Coordinator to join our team. As a Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various programs and services. You will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, providing support and guidance to ensure their well-being and success. Responsibilities:

Oversee the personnel of the HCBS program, by encompassing tasks such as conducting performance assessments, arranging schedules, and facilitating orientation sessions.

Ensuring adherence to state DDD & AHCCCS regulations by consistently reviewing and attending pertinent sessions

Supervise the day-to-day functions of the HCBS/In Home program, including the coordination and execution of direct assistance, individualized planning, recruitment, staff development, safety protocols, and upkeep of physical facilities.

Render recommendations or determinations regarding personnel matters, such as recruitment, transfers, advancements, disciplinary measures, and separations.

Direct the planning process for program initiatives, ensuring the delivery of services aligns with the preferences and needs of the individuals served, while also ensuring adherence to organizational, licensing, and funding regulations across all program divisions.

Spearhead the formulation and execution of operational strategies and tactics consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the agency, and regularly communicate performance updates to the Chief Executive Officer.

Recruit, train, and oversee team members, while also being available to cover staff shifts in the event of unexpected absences.

Attending company events, meetings, and nurturing robust community partnerships.

You will be on call to cover open shifts when required.

Perform additional duties as required or assigned.

Experience:

Ø Previous experience in positions such as HCBS Coordinator, Care Manager, Group Home Manager, or Direct Support Professional.

Ø A sincere dedication to serving the special needs community and a steadfast commitment to creating a positive difference.

Ø Familiarity with Arizona's Developmental Disabilities programs and service structures.

Ø Proficient in Case Management skills including Interviewing, Advocacy, and Collaboration.

Ø Capability to uphold confidentiality standards, including adherence to HIPAA regulations.

Ø Proficiency in computer usage, including experience with Excell and Google Drive.

Ø Possession of a valid Level One fingerprint clearance card.

Ø In-state travel is necessary; thus, a valid state-issued driver's license and personal transportation (with mileage reimbursement) are required.

Ø Subject to background checks through both the Child Protective Services Central Registry and the Adult Protective Services Registry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
