We are seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to join our team! Working under the supervision of the Executive and Clinical Director the BHT will need to be able to facilitate and keep clients interested in groups, provide recovery-oriented rehabilitation services in group and/or individual settings. The BHT will provide direct supervision for adults with dual diagnosis, behavioral health disorders including substance abuse. The BHT documents each shift on behavior and participation in groups, and reports to the multidisciplinary treatment team. Some daily responsibilities include assist with self-administration of medications, group facilitation, progress note writing, keeping rules and structure within the home. The BHT is responsible for maintaining the client activity schedule and observing and reporting client participation in the program. The BHT assists clients in benefiting from program services, developing life skills and enhancing social skills. The BHT may also facilitate educational groups on chemical dependency, self-esteem, anger management, life skills, social skills, etc.
Must be 21 years or older
Must have a valid Drivers license
Must have a valid Fingerprint clearance card
Must have current CPR/First Aid
Must have current TB
Shifts are from 6am-6pm
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week
