Seeking private caregiver for patient who suffers from advanced ALS. We are currently looking to add to her care team. She is in her early 70's and needs full assistance including bathing, Foley care, feeding tube, advanced airway with ventilator, range of motion, light massage exercises, and companionship. It takes a special type of person for this position, as it is a total care job and she is quadriplegic from ALS. We do provide complete training for her specific needs so experience with all of the above mentioned items is not required but any experience is definitely appreciated. What is most important is a willingness to learn new skills and have a caring and patient nature. If you have a related certification other than caregiver or CNA such as MA, LPN, RN, RT that is also welcome.
If you have interest in a position like this we are looking to cover day shift 4 days a week with potential for fill in of other shifts. Our shifts are approx. 9 hours starting at 8:30am and ending at 5:30pm. Weekends are required. I respond to text quicker than email.
