I am a mother looking for a kind and responsible person to come alongside me and help care for my son, who is 26 years old and recovering from a traumatic brain injury (TBI). The person I’m looking for needs to be physically fit, reliable, and passionate about helping people with special needs.
Although cognitively delayed, my son has a loving, gentle disposition. He loves to learn and continues to prove doctors wrong. He has incredible potential and will inspire you as much as you help him.
I need help implementing a neurological program at home that involves physical exercise, cognitive activities, setting goals to build independence through repetition, and lots of fun, as well as assistance with self-help tasks. Seizures occur once a week, mostly at night, so I need someone attentive and responsible.
No experience necessary. A female is preferred in her 20s and 30s. If this sounds like a good fit, please reach out for more details.
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 12 pm (some flexibility with more hours)
Rate: $20-$25 per hour
We work through an agency. CPR, First Aid, Fingerprint Clearance, and Article 9 can be arranged if you do not have these.
