I'm a 32-year-old male with Muscular Dystrophy who is in need of a caregiver. I'm looking for a caregiver who'll assist me with:
- bowel movements. Due to my disability I need my caregiver to use their finger to help remove my stool.
- transfers to/from bed and power wheelchair (I only weigh 45lbs due to my disability)
- getting dressed
- eating/drinking
- showering
- teeth/hair care
- urinating (handheld urinal)
- driving me to/from social events, errands, and meetings
- caring for our 2-year-old Corgi puppy (feeding him, taking him out to potty, and some light play)
- light housekeeping
Hours needed: 30
Fridays from 6:45am - 6:45pm
Saturdays from 7am - 5pm
Sundays from 7am - 3pm
Ideal candidate must be fluent in English, punctual, reliable (including transportation), patient, professional, caring, hardworking and motivated.
I have a Bachelors in film from ASU and a Masters in Counseling from Phoenix Seminary. I'm a licensed therapist and live in north Phoenix with my wife and our puppy. We love Jesus and we love people, and I'm a big Arizona sports fan.
