Job Title: Assisted Living Facility Manager, Caregiver

Location: Maricopa, AZ

Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time

Compensation: $20/hr

ASSISTED LIVING MANAGER

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assisted Living Facility Manager to join our team at Penda Home Care in Maricopa, AZ. The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of our assisted living facility, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety for our residents. You will lead a team of care professionals, manage budgets, maintain compliance with Arizona state regulations, and foster a positive and supportive environment for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents.

Hire, train, and supervise staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.

Ensure compliance with all state regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards.

Conduct resident assessments, develop care plans, and monitor the quality of care provided.

Maintain strong communication with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies.

Manage budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-effective strategies to enhance facility operations.

Address and resolve resident concerns and emergencies promptly and professionally.

Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by state regulations.

Qualifications:

1-5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within an assisted living facility, nursing home, or similar environment.

Current Arizona Assisted Living Facility Manager License

CPR and First Aid certification.

Strong knowledge of Arizona assisted living regulations, resident rights, and care requirements.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

Degree in healthcare administration, nursing, social work, or a related field.

Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other administrative software.

Strong record-keeping abilities to ensure compliance with documentation standards.

Background in healthcare or social services to support resident well-being.

Job Description:

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team at Penda Home Care in Maricopa, AZ. As a caregiver, you will provide essential care and support to our residents, helping them with daily activities, maintaining their well-being, and fostering a comfortable and positive living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

Monitor residents' health, taking note of any physical or emotional changes and reporting them to the supervisor.

Administer medication as directed and assist with basic healthcare tasks.

Help with meal preparation, serving, and feeding residents as needed.

Provide companionship and engage residents in social and recreational activities.

Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.

Follow care plans and document resident care activities accurately.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a caregiving role within an assisted living facility, nursing home, or similar environment preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent.

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Knowledge of basic caregiving practices and ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lift and assist residents with mobility needs.

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification (preferred).

Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Strong record-keeping abilities to maintain accurate and compliant documentation.

Background in healthcare or geriatric care.
