AVAILABILITY:

Choose 8 - 40+ hours/week. We pay you overtime 1.5x.

We are NOT a hiring agency. This is a beautiful, assisted living center.

PAY RATE DETAILS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Helps to create and lead an exciting program that maximizes resident engagement and enhances the quality of life of our residents.

Assist in providing overall support to the department in planning, coordinating, and implementing adult-centric, relevant, elevated, and purposeful activities and events.

Assist in the development of the monthly program calendar to ensure it is equally balanced with cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and recreational opportunities.

Assist in procuring groups, organizations, and individuals to perform for or instruct the residents as part of the program.

Actively influence and encourage residents to participate in activities using positive relationships and personalized interactions.

Assist in providing medical transportation to residents within the community guidelines as well as innovative and interesting outings and excursions.

Assist residents in entering and exiting community vehicles.

Treat residents, family members, and other team members with dignity and respect while responding to their needs, including those who may be cognitively impaired.

REQUIRED:

TB TEST (negative proof) Can be given at the facility if not obtained

CPR/First Aid Certification

Fingerprint Clearance Card (front and back of card)

Food Handlers Certification

If a Certified Caregiver - Certificate Copy

Must have a valid driver’s license and clean MVR

Must be at least 21 years of age with 3 years of driving experience

ALSO:

Previous relevant experience as an Activities Coordinator (healthcare or living facility) preferred, but not required

Must be proficient in the use of Internet resources and demonstrate an understanding and use of current technology
