We are looking to fill a full-time maintenance engineer position.

Maintenance Engineer for 830A- 500P Monday-Friday/ Off Saturdays and Sundays

-Required to be on-call for emergencies.

-Have reliable transportation.

Maintenance Technician Job Summary:

Keep all equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing day-to-day maintenance

of the hotel. Complete maintenance work orders from all departments on a timely basis by following

hotels standard operating procedures. Continually work towards and support the improvement of

engineering service to guests, other departments and fellow staff.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Perform preventive maintenance in guest rooms and common areas

● Manage the completion and documentation of maintenance work orders

● Complete repairs and maintenance on rooms, performing routine maintenance tasks such as

electrical, plumbing, PTAC units, walls, tape bed texture, painting, caulking, carpet/floor

cleaning, changing light bulbs, toilet seats, etc

● Maintain safety and security of the hotel and follow key and lock procedures

● Maintain landscaping, parking lot, grounds, and appearance of exterior of buildings, keeping

areas free of trash and debris

● Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data

● Perform room inspections, accept feedback from quality inspections performed by hotel

management and trained team members

● Complete maintenance tasks within the expected time frame

● Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address

guests.

● Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly service-oriented manner

● Maintain regular attendance in compliance with standards as required by scheduling, which will

vary according to the needs of the hotel

● Maintain professional standards of personal appearance and grooming while working

Comply at all times with standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel

operations

● Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor

● Travel within the local area is required

● High school diploma or GED certificate

● Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing repairs and preferably HVAC.

● Physical stamina for being on your feet throughout shifts

● Able to lift upwards of 50 pounds

● Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions

● Meticulous attention to detail

● Able to follow instructions

● Time-management skills; ability to operate independently with minimal direction

● Basic computer skills (to clock in/out, to log maintenance issues, to manage supply

inventory)

● Basic understanding of the English language
