Award Winning CRUjiente Tacos is looking for a sous chef! We are open for dinner only Mon-Sat, closed on Sundays. This is a WORKING SOUS CHEF POSITION, meaning you work a station daily. The ideal candidate has strong line and prep experience, as well as supervisory experience. We need someone who is reliable, even tempered, passionate about food, as well as a very strong cook.
Responsibilities would be daily prep, working a station on the line for service, overseeing service, assisting with quality control, ordering, checking in and payment for deliveries, communication with FOH team, organization and cleaning of kitchen, assigning prep, some opening and some closing.
We are a modern, upscale taqueria serving very high quality food. We are a true scratch kitchen, dedicated to serving the best tacos in the country! We have been featured on Food Network, PBS, Phoenix Magazine, Southwest Airlines, American Airlines, Arizona Foothills, Forbes, USA Today, Arizona Republic, Thrillist, and more. We are a two time Grand Champion at the Arizona Taco Festival!
