Extend A Suites Phoenix-North is looking for exceptionally friendly and hardworking people to join our amazing team in North- Phoenix!

We are looking to fill a total of one part-time housekeeping/laundry position.

Laundry on Saturdays and Sundays 8AM- until rooms are complete.

OFF Mondays

Housekeeping on Tuesday, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays 10AM- until rooms are complete.

Hotel Housekeeper Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent Hotel Housekeeper who will keep our hotel looking its absolute best. You will work with a team of cleaning professionals and may be assigned to different shifts/hotels each week. Our ideal Hotel Housekeeper has a keen eye for detail while handling vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sweeping duties. Our hotel staff prides itself on providing outstanding hospitality to our guests, and your housekeeping services are a significant part of this. Candidates with prior cleaning experience are preferred, but we are willing to train hardworking people who are team players.

Hotel Housekeeper Duties and Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean hotel rooms, hallways, lobbies, common areas when needed.

Change linens, towels and replace toiletries; remove all trash from guest rooms

Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift

Wash and dry guest room linens, as well as all food and beverage linens

May be required to disassemble furniture or items in the guest room to conduct deep cleaning

Deep cleaning tasks may include but are not limited to: changing the AC filter, cleaning AC coils, touching up paint and scratched furniture, rehanging closet slide doors

Complete all pre-cleaning duties including but not limited to guest supplies, cleaning supplies and linen for housekeeping cart set-up

Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly service-oriented manner

Maintain regular attendance in compliance with standards as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel

Maintain professional standards of personal appearance and grooming while working

Comply at all times with standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations

Report any issues that require maintenance, complying with the hotel tracking system

Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor

No travel outside the local area is required

This position is 100% onsite at the assigned hotel(s)

Hotel Housekeeper Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or GED certificate preferred

Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies

Physical stamina for being on your feet throughout shifts; ability to extend arms over head, bend and stoop to perform cleaning tasks

Able to lift upwards of 25 pounds, including lifting and carrying heavy loads of linens and pushing linen carts of approximately 100 pounds

Meticulous attention to detail

Able to follow instructions

Time-management skills

Basic computer skills (to clock in/out, to log maintenance issues, to manage housekeeping supply inventory)

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Basic understanding of the English language preferred

Laundry/Housekeeping Aid Duties and Responsibilities

· Thoroughly clean hotel lobby and lobby bathroom every morning

· Maintain cleanliness in the laundry room.

· Have clean linens and filled chemicals bottles ready for housekeeper when they arrive.

· Ensure all clean linens and cleaning supplies are stocked and indicate any shortages to the general manager.

· Wash, clean, dry, and fold numerous hotel linen and laundry items.

· Sort the laundry items according to material and color.

· Look at all linens before putting it into the washer and treat any stains you find before washing.

· Assist any fellow housekeepers with more difficult rooms or with taking extra linens to the rooms they are working on.

· Walking departures at 11AM with a team member from front desk or management to document any stained linens in the departing rooms. Fill out stained linens sheet and turn into the Front desk agent by 12PM at the latest. Strip dirty linens from and collect all trash from each room.

· Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly service-oriented manner.

· Maintain regular attendance in compliance with standards as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
