High end hotel is looking for FULL TIME banquet cooks!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food for banquets and events according to recipes and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Assist in menu planning and development for banquet events.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as catering or dietary, to meet specific event requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with guests.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in banquets or catering.
- Proficient in using knives and other kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
