It also aims to encourage and cultivate technical innovation and enhance and highlight the organization's technical pulse.This position reports to the Program Director of Generative AI Enterprise Enablement team. The person who fills this role will work as a strategic partner with different technical and non-technical foundation delivery teams to make Generative AI available for American Express at scale. The role will lead Project Delivery, understanding the “who”, “why”, “what” in collaboration with multiple technical development teams and product partners to define requirements, and groom features, with clear acceptance criteria. We are looking for someone with product insight, a love of technology and project management skills.Responsibilities:

Working well with all enablement partners, building key relationships to identify and handle dependencies.

Build and supervise key project results and achievements using techniques such as teamwork, planning, coordination, and leadership.

Leads and appropriately brings up delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes related to enterprise enablement development initiatives

Being a motivated, high-performing change agent.

Ensure what the team builds is aligned with what is needed to achieve the desired outcomes

Maintain the backlog and ensure user stories/features are aligned to the enterprise enablement outcomes

Implement agile methodologies with collaboration in a dynamic, development environment

Support the Program Manager(s) and Product Owners to ensure the identification of technical problems, and devise solutions as they relate to the current and future business/technology environment

Participate in retrospectives to ensure lessons learned are carried forward in subsequent development activities

Foster a culture of accountability, continuous engagement, and teamwork by working collaboratively with all relevant teams within the program

Review/Demonstrate sprint-related achievements with product owners and partners.

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or another technical field, or equivalent work experience, is helpful

At least 2 years of experience in technical project management.

Knowledge of software and infrastructure design principles

Ability to work with multi-functional, geographically distributed teams on complex projects.

Experience in managing Agile, Scrum, or other fast application development teams to deliver technology solutions that meet customer expectations for quality and timeliness

Ability to communicate optimally with third parties, technical and business teams

Eagerness to learn new technologies.

PMI and/or Scrum Master Certification and Experience using Jira or Rally is a plus
