Description Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a Tax Preparer on an interim basis with a professional service client here in Phoenix, Arizona. The Tax Preparer will play a key role in our team, focusing on processing tax forms for both individuals and businesses. The role requires practical experience and a proven track record in handling tax seasons.Responsibilities: Assisting with the preparation of individual and business tax forms. Utilizing practical experience to navigate through tax season effectively. Processing business forms such as individuals, partnerships, corps, and s-corps. Managing client inquiries and providing solutions promptly. Ensuring accurate record keeping for all client tax information. Utilizing Lacerte software for tax preparation tasks. Continuously updating tax knowledge and skills in line with industry standards. Ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. Providing support to the team during the peak tax season.Requirements Applicant must possess a thorough understanding of individual tax preparation. Knowledge of tax preparation software is essential. Familiarity with federal, state, and local tax codes and regulations is required. Strong mathematical skills are crucial for this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is expected. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is necessary. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is a must. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required for interacting with clients. Applicant must have a proven track record as a tax preparer. The ability to handle confidential information with discretion is vital. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field is preferred. Certification from a national tax training school or equivalent experience is desirable. Familiarity with electronic filing systems is beneficial. Ability to stay updated with industry trends and legislation changes is expected. Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve tax-related issues effectively.
