As a System Engineer II, you will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will be involved in conceptual design, performance analysis, trade studies and tool and process modernization and enhancements.RESPONSIBILITIES

Gas turbine engine modeling, cycle definition and analysis

Systems integration, validation & verification and process development

Engine system performance and operability design, analysis and data reduction

Participating in tool maintenance and enhancement initiatives, with a focus on system analysis tools

Travel: up to 10%

Hybrid work schedule

Reports to: Sr Engineering Manager

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.MUST HAVE

18 months+ experience in systems engineering or a related field

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

WE VALUE

Mechanical, Aerospace or other similar Engineering discipline

Good understanding of Thermodynamics and turbomachine engine as a system

Strong modeling abilities, experience using Performance and Operability tools experience

Experience with gas turbine engine concept modeling, development and trade studies

Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts

Diverse and global teaming and collaboration

Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done

Ability to adapt dictated by project changes

Multi-tasking and has the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks
