This job is a member of the Payroll Operations team within the Finance Division.
Responsible for timely and accurate processing of assigned employee payroll checks including collection, review, input, edit, output and verification of payroll data.

Processes payroll data accurately by the required deadline
Consistently applies company policy and government regulations to all processing
Maintains the security and confidentiality of all payroll related information
Reviews audit reports for accuracy and requests corrections as necessary
Researches team member inquiries and provides solutions as required in a timely manner
Knowledgeable of labor agreements and applicable processing requirements to specific workforce groups, such as unions
Organizes and maintains records utilizing special processing that reduces the occurrences of incorrect payments to employees
Adheres to existing SOX processing maps and requirements
Assists in special projects, system testing, and other duties as assigned
Provides training and updates documentation as needed
Supports the successful completion of all banking inbound and outbound ACH and check payment files as needed
Communicates all discrepancies to payroll supervisor or department timekeeper as necessary
All you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
High School diploma or GED equivalent or equivalent training/experience
3 years of working in a high volume, multi-state payroll department
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Experience with payroll systems (SAP preferred)
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Above average customer experience and organizational skills
Ability to work as a team player in a high stress environment
Use of analytical skills to identify and address potential issues
Ability to explain and interpret complex payroll information to employees at all levels of the organization
Skilled in Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Excel, Word, Planner)
