Description:The Quality Engineer is a key contributor to the organization and must act with a sense of urgency. The Quality Engineer will oversee quality management systems, including product inspections, testing, sample approvals, and corrective action implementation. The ideal candidate will have experience working with remote employees, third-party inspections and in-house inspections and understand qualifications for approvals of raw materials and finished goods. This position will maintain close working relationships with our engineers, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to ensure quality standards are effective at early stages in the manufacturing process and evident in the final products. Process improvement knowledge in a manufacturing environment such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc., to drive operational excellence system is a plus. Experience in process design and new product development.
