We are looking for a problem-solver, trying to understand how our client organizations do business and implementing the suite of tools to solve functional gaps. You will work with a wide range of owners, engineering and construction firms, utilizing your construction or engineering background to facilitate better decision-making for our clients. We are looking for someone who is self-organized and communicates well with all levels of an organization. Someone who is client-focused and who ensures that our customers' satisfaction is at the forefront of how InEight does business. Ideally we are looking for a Construction Project Engineer or Construction Project Manager with strong Estimating experience looking to transition into the software space.Responsibilities:
You will work with a wide range of owners, general contractors, engineers, & construction organizations to train and rollout the InEight suite of tools
The project delivery consultant will train key stakeholders to build expertise around the InEight products
Leverage construction background to implement InEight products and help fast track successful product adoption
Work cross-functionally with a variety of InEight teams to ensure solution decisions are in alignment with the overall deployment strategy
You will help convey business processes, end-user roles, and assists InEight product and support teams to drive quality solutions and services
Assists with InEight product testing and defect resolution prior to product release and InEight prescriptive delivery
Assists with producing, maintaining and delivering end-user training and communications regarding the InEight products
Serves as an InEight spokesperson with client's stakeholders
Help provide feedback for InEight - Product Manager / Product Owner to aid in the creation and prioritization of the product backlog
Self-organized and communicates well with internal teams as well as external clients.
Stays focused on delivering quality services, encourages teamwork, transparency and collaboration
Qualifications:
5 years of experience working in the construction/engineering industry required
A background in estimating, project engineering, or construction project management is strongly preferred (not an IT professional)
Technology savvy- with the ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies
Strong background in project estimating, or project controls
Experience working in contract management, bid packaging, business management, document control, change management, scheduling.
Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: construction management, engineering sciences, business administration, computer science and applied technology, communications, or training (with focus on adult learning)
Experience facilitating training face-to-face and online meetings using WebEx, Skype or similar tools
Experience working with a wide range of professionals within an organization such as Front Line Craft, Project Management, Administration and Executive-level contacts
Able to communicate well with teams demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to present information both to technical and non-technical to customers/stakeholders, in the appropriate media and form.
Able to synthesize and articulate complex concepts targeted at multiple audience
Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
Experience with standard Office products, PDF software, road mapping tools (Aha!), support tools (ServiceNow), project management and collaboration software (Smartsheet, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams)
