Description We are seeking a Project Assistant for our construction and contracting operations based in Phoenix, Arizona. The role involves a variety of tasks related to project management, including the handling of new projects, billings, and subcontractor and vendor documents. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Handle and confirm the accuracy of new Job Request Forms. Input all project-related data into Acumatica. Request and set up 20-day Preliminary Notices and preliminary information sheets. Assist Project Managers in preparing Submittals and maintaining related logs. Update billing information in the Database (Acumatica) monthly and prepare monthly billings. Prepare Subcontract Agreements and Purchase Agreements and submit them for execution. Enter all buyout information received from Project Managers into Acumatica. Handle Clients' change orders and update Acumatica and Database accordingly. Send tax privilege exempt and related financial documents to general contractors. Utilize skills in managing timelines, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, organizing files, construction documents, and construction accounting. Skills required: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word. Familiarity with organizing files and managing timelines. Knowledge in construction documents and construction accounting. Requirements Possess skills in managing timelines efficiently Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word Demonstrated experience in organizing files and documents Ability to understand and manage construction documents Familiarity with construction accounting principles Prior experience or knowledge of the construction industry is preferred Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and manage competing demands High level of integrity and professionalism Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
