What you're responsible for:Liaising and negotiating with vendors and suppliers to ensure the quality of stock purchases.Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.Inputting and accessing inventor data through a computerized maintenance management information system utilize computer to troubleshoot records for inventory control.Performing administrative functions such as typing, filing, and maintaining detailed records.Compiling, classifying, collating, and organizing information. Maintaining electronic, paper records and reports. Maintains inventory control.Ensuring coordination of activities to meet department objectives.Providing clear spoken and written information to supervisors and managers regarding the status of situation or orders. Answering inquiries about the maintenance/inventory management system or procedures.Cooperating with peers, managers and operations personnel and act as a liaison between other employees and departments when it comes to physical inventory or parts and supplies.Tracking and issuing safety PPE supplies to department leads via assigned department storage spaces.Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the supervisor.Maintaining and updating records of purchase order, pricing reports, and inventory records.
