This role works closely with the Revenue & Fund Operations Manager, Office of Awards to partner in developing post-award management policies and workflows, thus assuring a high quality, effective, efficient and compliant support platform for the Dignity Health Arizona Research Enterprise (DHARE).This position is responsible for fostering productive relationships with faculty, investigators, department chairs and departmental research program managers, DH institutional leadership, peer institutions, awarding agency sponsors and other stakeholders. This position also initiates strategies and tools to improve service excellence and processes to identify grant opportunities, develop and submit grant proposals, and ensure compliance with post-award obligations. Additional responsibilities include administering time and effort obligations, developing policies and work instructions and all other administrative transactions required to lead grant management functions within the DHARE Office of Awards.The incumbent uses advanced research administration concepts to independently manage a diverse scope of transactions, including highly complex issues and regulations ensuring that the needs of Principal Investigators, Program Directors and administrative staff are met, in the context of institutional compliance.
