As a Machinist Level II here at Honeywell's Phoenix R&O facility, you will play a vital role in operating and maintaining our machining equipment to produce high-quality parts and components for the aviation industry. Your expertise in machining and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our repair and overhaul operations.You will report directly to our Machining Supervisor and work on-site at our Phoenix R&O location.In this role, you will have a direct impact on the efficiency and productivity of our repair and overhaul processes by operating and maintaining our machining equipment to meet the strict quality standards and customer requirements of the aviation industry.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations according to specifications Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet the stringent quality standards and specifications of the aviation industry Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize repair and overhaul processes Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environmentAll applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone).
