Description We are providing an opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join our team based in Phoenix, Arizona. The role revolves around the legal and education industry, requiring the individual to support attorneys and manage various administrative tasks. The position entails working closely with legal procedures and policies, focusing on litigation and education law.Responsibilities Support a team of attorneys by managing their calendars and scheduling appointments Handle legal documentation including drafting and briefing legal documents Manage client relations and address their inquiries efficiently Ensure accurate and timely docketing of legal proceedings Conduct regular filing with the courts to maintain up-to-date court records Stay updated on the latest developments in Education Law and Commercial Litigation Ensure all client and case information is kept confidential and secure Coordinate with various departments for smooth operations Facilitate internal communication such as distributing information and scheduling meetings Assist in any other legal administrative duties as required. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Legal Secretary role or similar Demonstrated skills in briefing, calendar management, and client relations Knowledge and experience in Education Law Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion High attention to detail and accuracy Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team A commitment to detail oriented development and continuous learning Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Bachelor's degree in Law or related field would be an asset.
