The platform offers fast-paced rapid code-to-development models and services such as Platform-as-a-Service, DB-as-a-Service, Analytics-as-a-Service, Messaging-as-a-Service, CICD tools, etc. for application developers in a multi cloud environment. Amex Cloud Platform enables application developers to write modern scalable cloud native applications.The Cloud Governance & Compliance Information Security Analyst I for the American Express Cloud Engineering organization will be responsible for supporting Cloud Compliance and Audit functions in support of Amex’s multi-cloud strategy. This role primarily focuses on ensuring that cloud engineering is meeting audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements, in partnership with various stakeholders throughout the company.The ideal candidate will possess excellent thought leadership, strategic and critical thinking, ability to communicate effectively, relationship building skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. They will need to have a consistent track record of excellence operating independently and within a hard-working team environment.Responsibilities

Support the establishment of an audit, compliance, and governance team within the Cloud Engineering organization in support of Amex's multi-cloud strategy

Oversee key elements of the Process Risk Self-Assessment (PRSA) process to help manage operational risk.

Partner with process and control owners on the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures (controls) and ensure activities are consistent with enterprise policies and requirements.

Support managers during internal and external audit-related activities for the Enterprise Cloud organization

Support adherence to IS/IT controls across public and private clouds

Act as a liaison between Enterprise Cloud, TRIS, and other business units to evangelize audit, compliance, and governance practices

Minimum Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Business, or relevant experience

1 years of Process Risk Self-Assessment (PRSA) experience

1 years of internal and external audit exam experience

Experience working with policies, standards, and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrates and encourages enterprise-wide thinking and collaboration

Understanding of Process Risk Self-Assessment (PRSA)

Experience with process controls and testing

Experience with internal and external audit exam management and closure processes

Understanding of policies, standards, and procedures

Excellent communicator - able to interact with people of all levels in a confident, professional manner

Proven problem-solving skills - ability to ask questions, analyze information, and take action

QualificationsSalary Range: $73,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually bonus benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
