Description We are seeking an Employee Relations/HR Manager to join our team based in Phoenix, Arizona. The successful candidate will be joining a large, fast-paced company, providing expert guidance and support in all aspects of human resources. This role offers approximately a 1-2 year contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Counsel and provide written warnings to over 700 employees to maintain a healthy work environment. Create, enforce, and deliver disciplinary action plans to address and rectify HR issues. Track HR issues and handle a wide variety of HR relations to ensure smooth functioning. Assist leadership with performance and policy/procedure management to maintain high standards. Manage all incoming calls with respect to human resources, providing timely and effective responses. Utilize HRMS, specifically Workday, to maintain employee records and manage HR functions. Ensure compliance with labor laws to avoid legal complications. Conduct Employee Relations Investigations to resolve any conflicts or issues. Oversee benefit functions to ensure employees receive their entitled benefits. Handle disciplinary actions, maintaining fairness and transparency.Requirements Must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources Management Role. Proficient in HR Management Systems (HRMS). Familiarity with Benefit Functions such as employee health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits. Understanding of Compliance including knowledge of labor laws and employment standards. Deep Employee Relations experience with HR Generalist knowledge and expertise within the areas of performance management, employee relations and labor laws. Proven track record in Employee Relations Investigations and handling disciplinary actions. Proficiency in Workday HRIS and other Workday modules. Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Professional certification in Human Resources (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
