Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am - 5pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.We offer weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 8am to 5pm CST, Monday - Friday.   Training will be conducted virtually from your home.All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.Primary Responsibilities:

Access clinical systems and rebuild cases

Research and fix claims

Maintain training calendars and certifications

Support clinical team with various tasks

Track compliance and errors via reports

Maintain SharePoint and other team sites with update-to-date information

High school diploma / GED or equivalent work experience

Must be 18 years of age or older

1+ years of call center and/or customer service experience within a healthcare environment

Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (including SharePoint) and the ability to navigate multiple programs and the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications

Experience multitasking and prioritizing work throughout the day

Experience working with multiple teams to achieve business results

Ability to work full-time. Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am - 5pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with claims, benefits and/or healthcare insurance

Soft Skills:

Effective communication

Ability to self-motivate and organize tasks

Ability to work fast-paced environment with changing priorities

Telecommuting Requirements:

Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.

Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Washington or Rhode Island Residents Only: The hourly range for California / Colorado / Connecticut / Hawaii / Nevada / New York / New Jersey / Washington / Rhode Island residents is $16.54 - $32.55 per hour.
