DescriptionThe cart technician is responsible for repairing and fixing these carts onsight at Honeywell. These carts hold engine parts and other aerospace parts for aicraft. This is NOT a mechanic level role.There are 1000+ carts that need to be worked on and repaired in a constant rotation. Role requires a lot of walking and being OK with wokring in some non-AC'ed and some AC'ed areas.Duties:
- repair carts, tighten the carts using hand tools, wrenches and power tools
- Build and or repair racking made of either metal or plastic tubing
- tighten and replace wheels
- Create PO's and submit orders for carts that need to be re painted or powder coated
- Clean, organize and 5S the test cells
- Order supplies on an Ipad or computer from the Honeywell tool crib
- Use phone to call in work orders

6+ months of some sort of industrial setting work. Can be a production facility or a construction site.

Ability to lift 50+ pounds
ability to work in AC'ed and NON AC'ed environments
ability to walk and be on feet 90% of the day
Basic computer skills
Ability and willingness to interact with their customer (Honeywell)
Self motivated (this role is highly self managed)
