Description:Role & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:The Assistant Director of Food and Beverage is responsible for overseeing and directing Banquets, Restaurants, In-Room Dining, Stewarding, and any other Food or Beverage related areas operated by Hyatt.

Operational Management:

· Assist the Director of Operations in overseeing the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, lounges, banquet facilities, room service, and catering.· Ensure that all Food and Beverage operations are adequately staffed, equipped, and stocked to meet guest demand and maintain service standards.· Monitor and evaluate operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and profitability.· Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus, maintain food quality standards, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Guest Experience:

· Uphold a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing personalized service, addressing guest feedback and resolving any issues or concerns promptly.· Work closely with front-of-house staff to maintain a welcoming atmosphere, uphold service standards, and ensure seamless coordination between the different departments of the hotel.· Implement training programs to develop the skills and knowledge of food and beverage staff, enhancing their ability to deliver outstanding service.

Financial Management:

· Assist in developing annual budgets and financial forecasts for the food and beverage department, monitoring expenses, and maximizing revenue opportunities.· Analyze financial performance reports and key performance indicators to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost control and revenue enhancement.· Implement strategies to optimize profitability, such as pricing strategies, cost controls, and revenue management tactics.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

· Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.· Conduct regular inspections and audits of food and beverage outlets to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and adherence to quality standards.· Work closely with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with food safety standards and licensing requirements.

Team Leadership and Development:
